The crew was about to repave this Whidbey Island road we were painting next to! So my friend, Jeanne Edwards, and I had to finish in a big hurry once we got the word. No time to angst about the outcome. We made our getaway just as the asphalt truck was coming up the road. It was a beautiful spot and the stop sign just cried out to be the center of attention!
