River Crossing San Jacinto

"River Crossing San Jacino", 8 x 10 In, Oil on Museum Board
When I was in Baja with Jolyn, we drove up into the Sierra Madre on a windy dirt road. Surprisingly there was a river crossing at San Jacinto that we decided we'd best not attempt. So we painted the river and the view of the mountains. Our companions were a mama pig and her two piglets who were very interested in what we had with us! This painting was another experiment for me with water soluble paints and painting knife application.
